Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann

Aaliyah Dana Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 after she debuted her first album Age Ain't nothing but an Number. The album came out as Gold at the age of just 15 years old. This collaboration, heavily in the direction of R. Kelly's music and put her in the limelight. She collaborated in 1996 together with Jermaine Dupri as well as Timbaland to release her second album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Only Knew. After the release of this work Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B artist. The actress is the first Indian American to be from Connecticut. Mann is a shortening of her marriage final name Mankad. Aarti has both Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn as professional names. Though she started her career in film and TV with a few minor performances, her acting career picked up growth in the latter half of 2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) In addition, she was a part of several commercials including Volvo and other major automobile brand names. The mother of her daughter resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
