Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic singer, composer and performer. He blends jazz from the soul genre with R&B to create a unique mixture. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway and in the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine has been born Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta, her roots are situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by as a singer and pianist in a church. She attended Spellman College and began to master the R&B styles of Atlanta. The year 2005 saw Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her voice and her music, invited Sunshine to sing in the Dreamgirls production at the Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention for four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was chosen to perform at Obama's inaugural ceremony in 2009.
