Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. In her early years she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church Choir in Newark. By the time she reached the age of 15years old, Houston was singing professionally backing vocals with her mother in Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. The Whitney sequel in 1987, featuring the singles How Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to expand on the popularity of her debut album. However, it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her status as one the world's most loved artists. Though the movie was not well-received and neither did her performance, the soundtrack to the film's Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the top spot on both the albums and singles charts across the US for a period of time. She sold 44,000,000 copies. The same year, she was married former New Edition star Bobby Brown with whom she had her only child their child Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. The beginning of her addiction to drugs came in the middle of 1993 and by 1996, she had been a frequent user.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she has a job at CNN as both an anchorwoman, reporter, and political correspondent. She also produces several of the network's Saturday shows such the Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.'
